The EOQHA has three awards that are presented annually to members who go that extra bit out of their way to help others or the club.
These awards are presented annually at the banquet.
- The Bill Borland Award, donated by the Hitsman family, honours those who are always willing to help, go the extra mile and demonstrate exceptional teamwork.
- The Goodwill Award, initially donated by Bonnie Cameron and Dan Donohue, to an individual or family who contributes willingly and unasked to the EOQHA by helping out in anyway they can to make things run smoothly; be it handing out ribbons, helping with functions, setting up obstacles in the ring, or for social functions, delivering shavings, or even cleaning out stalls. They volunteer and pitch in wherever and whenever needed.
- The Hall of Fame program was designed to recognize the people who have played a vital role in the development of the Eastern Ontario Quarter Horse Association.
